Do you ever long for a quiet place to rest awhile?

A place where you can sort out the things of life?

A place to make new relationships

with other like-minded women? 

Sanctuary, womens group, could be just what you are looking for.

Sanctuary is open on the third Tuesday of each month from 9:30am until 11:00am and it meets at St Marks Church, Harrogate in the main church.

Ninety minutes in which to relax, breathe, pamper yourself and learn something new. We start with coffee, tea and light refreshments and a chance to catch up with old friends and make some new ones. Feel free to settle your babies and toddlers into our fully equipped, friendly creche where there will be doting, CRB-checked grown-ups to care for your little ones - and you can take a welcome break. At 9:50 we provide an opportunity for you to express your faith in worship before hearing an inspiring speaker or learning a new craft or hobby.

All of our speakers are women with a love for God - and will seek to present a biblical perspective on the issues of 21st century life.  Of course, there is also time for personal support or prayer.
